Shipping policy
Orders will be shipped out within timeframe stated on the website at the time the order is placed. That timeframe may vary from time to time including seasonally or during periods of expected high volume. Ginger's Bread and Treats uses business days as the measurement for estimated "turnaround time". Ginger's Bread and Treats business days do not include Saturdays or Sundays, major holidays, or other days that our major shipping carriers are not operating normally.
Ginger's Bread and Treats is not responsible for shipments after the package has been shipped. Ginger's Bread and Treats defines "shipped" as the point the shipping carrier confirms receipt of the package. In the event of damage to the shipment, the shipment is lost or stolen, or the shipment experiences extended delays, Ginger's Bread and Treats can not and does not accept responsibility. Packages are shipped with shipping insurance through the major carriers. Claims for damage, loss and theft should be filed with the carrier by the customer.
Ginger's Bread and Treats offers additional shipping protection, provided by a 3rd party vendor, for an additional fee. Ginger's Bread and Treats recommends adding this valuable tool to help resolve unexpected issues that may arise during transit, including damage, loss or theft. Generally, in the experience of Ginger's Bread and Treats, resolution through the 3rd party shipping protection vendor is easier and quicker than through the major shipping carrier insurance.
No changes to orders, including but not limited to cancellation, refunds, order editing or changes to shipping address can be made after a shipping label has been created by Ginger's Bread and Treats.
